Conservation Job Board: Find jobs in conservation, natural resources, ecology, wildlife, forestry, botany, marine biology, fisheries, and environmental education.
Texas A&M Job: A great place to find biology and conservation related jobs, internships, seasonal or full time work, graduate assistantships, and more.
National Wildlife Federation: You can search for jobs, internships, fellowships, and volunteer opportunities. Internship opportunities are nationwide and in the areas of conservation, education, fundraising, communications, legal work, and publications.
Grassroots Job Source: Nationwide internships and job opportunities in education, conservation, agriculture, sustainability, etc.
The Nature Conservancy: Apply to work at one of the most effective and wide-reaching environmental organizations in the world.

Government Jobs
Want to work for the National Park Service, the Forest Service or the BLM? The place to look for all of those jobs, and more, is USA Jobs!
Applying for jobs on USAJobs can be a little tricky. It is highly recommended that you read up on some tips before creating a profile. The USA Jobs help center has some helpful tips.

Employers of National Service: Employers of National Service connects AmeriCorps and Peace Corps alumni with employers from the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. There are over 600 organizations in the network!
State Jobs: Also consider looking into state jobs! Most states have a website where state jobs, including jobs in state parks, are listed. (Local Resources at bottom of page)

Outdoor Jobs
Love working outdoors but tired of swinging a pick all day? There are tons of opportunities that will get you outside! Consider working with a guiding program, working at a resort, working as an environmental educator, or working at a summer camp.

Outdoor Industry Jobs: Includes winter sports, bike industry, and flyfishing jobs, as well as many others!

Bridge to NCCC
The National Civilian Community Corps, or Americorps NCCC, is a program that brings 18-24 year olds together in team-based national and community service projects across the country. NCCC is a residential program with service in disaster relief, construction, urban gardening, fire prevention, education, trailwork, and more.

Conservation Job Board Network (CJB Network): CJB Network lists over 1,000 environmental graduate and training programs in the United States. The website was launched in 2020 by the creators of Conservation Job Board to help prospective students in environmental fields find great educational opportunities.
Also, if you are a current or former college student don't be afraid to reach out to your college's career center! Most colleges and universities have folks on staff who can sit down with you and help you build or edit your resume, even if you've already graduated.

Networking
LinkedIn: LinkedIn is a form of social media more focused on professional networking. If you don’t have a LinkedIn account, consider making one. There are tons of Conservation Legacy and SCC alumni you can connect with on LinkedIn, take advantage of it!
AmeriCorps Alums: Employers specifically look for AmeriCorps alumni to fill open positions and will post openings on this site! There are also monthly meet-ups and service events in most major cities. (Click "Jobs for Alums" on the right-hand side of the webpage for the search function).
VISTA Campus Job Board: A job board for VISTA or AmeriCorps alum. The positions on this board are paid staff and VISTA leader jobs (these are not volunteer positions).

AmeriCorps: Use this search engine to find the perfect program for you. You can search by state and/or interest. Programs vary from health, environment, education, disaster relief and more.
AmeriCorps NCCC: is a full-time, 10 month team-based residential program for adults ages 18-24. NCCC develops leaders through direct, team-based national and community service. In partnership with non-profits, local municipalities, state governments, federal government, national and state parks, Indian tribes, and schools, members complete service projects throughout the region they are assigned.
Food Corps: partners with AmeriCorps and places emerging leaders into limited-resource schools for a year of service implementing our three-ingredient recipe for healthy kids. FoodCorps members teach hands-on lessons about food and nutrition, build and tend school gardens and teach cooking lessons so kids can taste the fresh food they’ve grow, and change what’s on children’s lunch trays, giving them healthy food from local farms.

You can search the Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms (WWOOF) website and check out volunteer opportunities on different organic farms. Most volunteers work for food and a place to stay, but some may get a small stipend too. The length of your stay at the farm is negotiated directly between you and your host. Most WWOOF visits are between one and two weeks, though some may be as short as two or three days or as long as six months.

Bike and Build is a great option for bike enthusiasts 18-25 (and leaders up to 28). Bike and Build organizes cross-country bicycle trips which benefit affordable housing groups. You join a team of other young people and ride your bike from coast to coast, while building houses along the way. Each member needs to raise money for affordable housing causes and train beforehand, but no extensive cycling experience is necessary.

AmeriCorps St. Louis has a specific Emergency Disaster team responding to natural disasters across the country. Based in Missouri, teams are deployed in local counties, as well as national incidents.

Volunteer with Red Cross and help people whose lives have been effected by natural disasters.
